Zejwa

Zejva rugs are Caucasian carpets from the Kuba region of Azerbaijan, associated with the village of Zejva. These rugs are characterized by geometric patterns, clear drawing, and balanced compositions, typical of Kuba group carpets. Zejva rugs are appreciated for their precision and decorative appeal. Zejwa is the name of a village south of Kuba in the Caucasus. These are high quality items woven with a unique shape repeated medallions that resemble somehow the Adler Kazak medallions but more squared.
