Eagle Kazak

Sunburst rugs refer to carpets featuring a radiating central motif resembling the rays of the sun, often seen in certain Kazak designs. This pattern creates a dynamic and visually striking composition with angular or geometric extensions from a central point. Sunburst designs are characteristic of bold Caucasian weaving styles. Same as Cloudband Kazaks Eagle Kazaks are also from the village of Chelarberd, therefore they should be attributed to Karabagh and not Kazak.

These type Kazaks may be found in several styles, from a single medallion to as many as four or more. The Single Medallion are the rarest of all and in demand with collectors.

The eagle Kazaks are also known as Chelarberd, sunburst or Adler Kazaks.
