Chintamani Oushak rugs are a group of early Anatolian carpets from the Oushak region of western Turkey that incorporate the Chintamani motif. The Chintamani design consists of three circular forms arranged with wavy lines, a motif believed to have originated in Central Asian and East Asian decorative traditions. These rugs are considered among the notable design variations within the broader Oushak carpet tradition. A rare group of 16 and 17 Century from Oushak region in Anatolia. These rugs have a white ground and all over pattern of the Chintamani motif, a repeated figure of 3 balls in a pyramidal arrangement over 2 heavy lines or cloud bands.
