Asmalyk (Osmuulduk)

 

The translation of the word from Turkish is “hanging”. This is a term used for describing a five-sided Turkoman animal trapping made in pairs worn by the horse or the camel carrying the bride in wedding celebrations. Asmalyks could be found in several Turkoman sub tribes.
